Over the past couple weeks, the contractor has completed the storm sewer repairs and installed ADA sidewalk ramps. The lane closures are planned to be temporally taken down by the 29th.
Starting next week on October 5th, the lane closures will be put back into place. From October 5th-7th, you will see a lot of activity as the milling and resurfacing of the outside lanes and road approaches will begin. There will be traffic regulators and police enforcement to assist with traffic control. Increased traffic delays are expected during this time. The following week structure covers will be adjusted.
Starting October 12th, traffic will be switched to the outside lanes. From October 12th-14th, the middle 3 lanes will be milled and resurfaced. There will be traffic regulators and police enforcement to assist with traffic control. Increased traffic delays are expected.
As a reminder work is weather dependent, as we near the end of construction season. Current completion date is planned for the first week of November.
