BID NOTICE: 2024 IRIS ROAD RECONSTRUCTION-PM HIGHWAY TO S. LAKESHORE-CLOSED

The Board of County Road Commissioners of Mason County will receive e-mailed and/or sealed
bids at their office at 510 E. State St., Scottville MI 49454, until 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 12,
2024, for the following:
2024 IRIS ROAD RECONSTRUCTION – PM Highway to S. Lakeshore
Specifications and bid forms may be obtained at the Road Commission offices during regular
business hours or by visiting our website at www.masoncountyroads.com or request bid
documents from enelson@masoncountyroads.com.
If you plan to submit a bid, please e-mail enelson@masoncountyroads.com to be placed on the
bidders list. Any communications or addendums will be sent via email to all perspective bidders.
All proposals must be submitted on Road Commission furnished bid forms. Said forms must be emailed
to enelson@masoncountyroads.com, or in sealed envelopes, plainly marked as to item
bid and shall bear the name of the bidder. E-mailed bids must be received prior to the date and
time listed above. It is highly recommended to use a read and delivery receipt when e-mailing
the bid. E-mailed bids will be acknowledge with an e-mail confirmation acknowledging the
receipt of the e-mail bid.
The Mason County Road Commission hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure
that in any contract entered pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprise
will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be
discriminated against on the grounds of sex, race, color or national origin in consideration for
an award.
The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in the
bids and to make award in any manner they deem to be in the best interest of Mason County.
