Notice of upcoming Jebavy Drive Bridge Repair Project & Detour Route
The Jebavy Drive Bridge will be closed to all traffic starting June 1, 2026. The detour route is Jagger Road to M-116 to Bryant Road.
The Bridge project is a preventative maintenance project that will repair minor problems at a
lower cost to prevent future more costly repairs. The bride rehabilitation project includes replacement
of the expansion joint, beam repairs, guardrail repairs and epoxy overlay on the concrete that will
extend the life of the bridge deck. The bridge project is scheduled to start June 1st with a detour on
Jagger, M-116, to Bryant Road. It is anticipated that the bridge will be closed to all traffic from June 1st
to June 19th. It is anticipated to be open to traffic during the 28-day cure time from mid-June through
the July 4th holiday weekend. The bridge project will be closed to all traffic again from July 8th for
approximately 2 weeks. The final completion date is August 1, 2026. The project will cost
approximately $350,000.
